Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between SMBDA and the Organization of Small Industries and Industrial Parks of Iran 12.03.22

Within the framework of the 15th meeting of the State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Affairs between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran held in Baku on March 11, between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and the Iranian Organization of Small and Industrial Parks (ISIPO) a memorandum of understanding about cooperation was signed.

The document was signed by Chairman of the Board of SMBDA Orkhan Mammadov and Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Kheyrulla Khadami.

According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in organizing trainings, seminars, exchange programs on entrepreneurship, encourage participation in industrial parks to support the competitiveness of SMEs and expand mutual access to markets, take measures to facilitate the transfer of innovative entrepreneurship and information technology, mutual business missions, meetings and visits will be organized to support the establishment of business associations with the participation of small enterprises from Iran and Azerbaijan, mutual information will be exchanged on SME products and services, joint venture opportunities, events and exhibitions.
