Chairman of the Board of Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov met with Deputy Chairman of the Board of Egypt`s Dorra Group of Companies for Construction and Engineering Mohamed Hassan Dorra, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

 

At the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Azerbaijan Adel Ibrahim, Orkhan Mammadov briefed about the activities of SMBDA and SMB support mechanisms, and cooperation opportunities were discussed. It was noted that the Agency can support the establishment of relations between the local SMBs and business associations operating in the relevant field and Dorra Group of Companies, and the implementation of joint projects. At the meeting, the participants were also briefed about the favorable conditions and benefits created for residents of industrial parks in Azerbaijan.

 

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Egypt`s Dorra Group of Companies Mohamed Hassan Dorra noted that they have visited Azerbaijan on investment opportunities and will hold meetings with a number of relevant agencies for this purpose. He also expressed their interest in participating in future projects to be implemented in the liberated territories, and shared his views on the prospects of cooperation with the Agency.
