A meeting held with the involvement of state institutions and entrepreneurs on the implementation of the Road Map for 2022 of the international trade-working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings of the subgroup on assessment on stimulating and promoting the use of environmentally friendly vehicles.


Representatives of the Ministries of Economy, Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Customs Committee, the State Tax Service, the Azerbaijan Automobile Dealers Association, as well as local companies took part in the online meeting organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).


At the meeting, business entities were informed about tax exemptions and customs duties applied for the purpose of stimulating and promoting the use of environmentally friendly vehicles. Furthermore, discussions were held in the direction of building infrastructure, ensuring financial availability, applying additional concessions on import in order to expand the use of environmentally friendly and safe vehicles by state institutions and private sector representatives and questions from entrepreneurs were addressed.
