The forum captured the role of Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the energy sector, the energy potential of the Caspian, the Black and the Baltic Seas, Türkiye`s development model, the development of the Middle Corridor, the digital economy, "green energy" and the cooperation of Turkish speaking countries.

 

The "International Caspian Energy Forum Istanbul 2023" was held in Istanbul.


The event organized by "Caspian Energy Club" and "Caspian Energy Türkiye" and was supported by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) was attended by representatives of state agencies and companies of the countries of the Caspian, Black Sea and Baltic regions.


The forum covered the role of Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the energy sector, the energy potential of the Caspian Sea, Black Sea and Baltic Sea, Türkiye`s development model, the development of the Middle Corridor, the digital economy, "green energy" and the cooperation of Turkish speaking countries.

 

Speaking at the event, Deputy Chairman of the Board of KOBİA Mr. Hikmat Mammadov conveyed information on the activities of the Agency. It was highlighted that KOBİA renders support and services to SMBs for establishing and developing business, such as training, consulting, access to markets and financial resources, protection of entrepreneurial interests. These support mechanisms strengthen the role of SMBs in the economy by supporting their sustainable development.


Mr. Hikmat Mammadov also shared his views on possible cooperation with the relevant institutions of Türkiye in the fields such as digitization, "green economy", access to markets, among the topics discussed at the forum.
