The opportunities for expansion of cooperation between the SMB entities of the two countries were discussed during the meetings and events held within the framework of visit. 

"The representatives of KOBİA embarked on a business visit to Izmir, a city in Turkey."

During their visit, representatives of KOBİA actively participated in the Business Forum-Exhibition "Business World Summit of the Century" held in Izmir. 

This event, organized in partnership between KOBİA and the Izmir Chamber of Commerce, along with The Small and Medium Business (SMB) Development Agency, aimed to strengthen collaboration between Azerbaijani and Turkish small and medium-sized enterprises. Its goals encompassed improving sales prospects, leveraging services and products, and exploring available investment opportunities.

The products and services of Azerbaijani and Turkish companies across various sectors including agriculture, ICT, construction, service, real estate, tourism, hospitality, food industry, furniture manufacturing, advertising, and printing were demonstrated, accompanied by B2B meetings in exhibition part of event.

Moreover, representatives of KOBİA met with Mr.Ozpoyraz Seli, the Chairman of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, attended by representatives from business circles, discussions revolved around the opportunities for expansion of trade relations between the two countries and the collaborative efforts of both institutions in this field were discussed. 

During the visit, KOBİA representatives also visited the office of Tural Group owned by an Azerbaijani entrepreneur engaged in the production of hazelnut in Turkey.
