KOBİA attended INSME Annual Meeting

KOBİA invited INSME members to join the "Baku Coalition Declaration for SMEs' Green Climate Transition."

The INSME Annual Meeting was held in Rome, Italy, organized by the International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises (INSME). 

This year's event, dedicated to INSME's 20th anniversary, focused on the theme of "Unlocking Sustainable Finance for SMEs." Representatives from INSME member organizations, including the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), attended the meeting. During the event, a video message from Orhan Mammadov, Chairman of KOBİA’s Board of Directors, was broadcast. He emphasized that the green transformation of SMEs is attainable through collaborative efforts at both global and national levels and extended an invitation to stakeholders to join KOBİA's "Baku Coalition Declaration for SMEs' Green Climate Transition." Various panel discussions were also organized during the meeting. 

By participating in the panel dedicated to "Supporting Policies and ESG Regulations", Rufat Atakishiyev, Deputy Chairman of KOBIA’s Management Board gave an information related to the importance of applying ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles for SMEs, provided insights into the Agency's activities in this field, and addressed questions of the participants.
