At the meeting on the topic of “Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil in the field of development of women’s entrepreneurship”, cooperation opportunities were discussed and an exchange of experience was carried out.

An online meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE), and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro Lopes da Cruz.

At the meeting dedicated to the topic of “Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil in the field of development of women’s entrepreneurship”, issues of expanding relations between women entrepreneurs of both countries and implementation of joint projects were discussed.

At the meeting, KOBİA provided information on the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan and measures to support women’s business activity, and proposals on possible directions of cooperation were presented. It was also noted that specialized associations operate in Azerbaijan for the networking of women entrepreneurs. Representatives of the Association for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan (AQSİA), as well as women entrepreneurs representing various business sectors, shared their views on their activities, local initiatives and future cooperation opportunities during the meeting. At the same time, presentations of women entrepreneurs operating in the textile, education and high technologies sectors were heard at the meeting.
