Kazakhstan Ambassador to Azerbaijan visited SMBDA 27.11.19

Serjan Abdikarimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of SMBDA, shared information on the agency's activity, support and services provided to micro, small and medium businesses, and exchanged views on possible co-operation opportunities in the field of SMB, as well as in the field of agriculture and tourism. It was noted that delegation from SMBDA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund and held several meetings during the visit to Kazakstan this year. The agency is interested in learning international best practices in the field of SMBs, and the experience of Kazakhstan in this area is important.

The possibility of participation of Azerbaijani SMBs in the exhibitions to be held in Kazakhstan in 2020 was also discussed at the meeting.
