An interactive session was held at the “Baku SME House” on the topic of “Urban Planning as an Economic Catalyst” within the framework of the Azerbaijan Urban Planning Campaign (AUC2026). Support for the organization of the event, which was held within the framework of preparations for the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in the city of Baku on 17–22 May 2026, was also provided by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).

Specialists from various fields, urban planning experts, entrepreneurs and researchers participated in the session and discussed the mechanisms of the impact of urban planning decisions on the business environment. Detailed information was provided at the event on the impact of well-planned cities on the investment environment, and on the impact of urban planning solutions on customer flow and business revenues.
