As was previously announced, elections were held for the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) board, and new members were elected from representatives of 15 civil society organizations.


On December 2, the first meeting of the Public Council under KOBİA with the new composition was held. The chairman, deputy chairman and secretary of the council were elected at the meeting. So, in the next two years, the Chairman of the Board of the "Azerbaijan Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association" Public Union, Farhad Garashov, will head the Public Council under KOBİA. Goydeniz Kahramanov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Azerbaijan Tourism Agencies Association" Public Union, was elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Public Council, while Nihad Allahyarli, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Davam Youth Movement" Public Union, was elected as the secretary of the Council.


At the meeting, opinions on upcoming activities of the Public Council under KOBİA and the Action Plan for 2023 were discussed, and the council members' suggestions were taken into consideration.
