In January, 58 trainings were held for about 600 entrepreneurs and people seeking to start a business, and 154 consulting services were provided 23.02.24

Last month, 109 business plans were developed for agriculture, food, tourism and other fields.

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) held 58 training sessions in January 2024 to help startups, entrepreneurs, and those seeking to start a business expand their current knowledge base and gain new insights into the business world. 593 individuals took part in these training sessions.

Last month, 154 consulting services were offered to entrepreneurs and those seeking to start a business in various areas of business.

With the support of the SMB development centers of KOBİA, 109 business plans have been developed for entrepreneurs, start-ups and those interested in starting a new business in agriculture, food, tourism and other fields.

KOBİA arranged 952 business training sessions in 2023. Trainings covered business start-up, project management, financial management, sales, marketing, digital skills, "green economy" and other areas essential for SMBs. During this period, 1918 business owners and those wishing to start a business were provided with consulting services for matters pertaining to marketing, accounting, legal matters, business planning, and access to sales channels. In total, during 2023, 13,818 SMBs, entrepreneurs, and those seeking to start a business in general profited from the free training and consulting services provided by KOBİA.

Last year, KOBİA provided support for development of 697 business plans in agriculture, production, service and other directions free of charge. 424 entrepreneurs and people seeking to start a business benefited from the online training videos on the video training platform of the Agency free of charge. In 2023, 37 entrepreneurs and managers took a training course in Germany within the scope of the "Joint Germany-Azerbaijani Program on Professional Development Managers in the Business Community of Azerbaijan", coordinated by KOBİA, to gain international experience.
