Handicrafts made by SMEs are sparking interest 13.09.19

Residents of Baku and guests of our city received with interest the handicrafts of micro and small entrepreneurs at the 2nd Azerbaijan International Exhibition of Gift & Promo Products ("Gift & Promo 2019") and the 2nd Azerbaijan International Advertising and Printing Exhibition ("AdPrint 2019").

An assortiment of about 50 handicrafts, including souvenirs, wood carving, carpet weaving and decorative-applied art pieces, jewelry and accessories, toys, etc., made mainly by women and disabled entrepreneurs are displayed at the special stand created with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Note that SMBDA supports the participation of micro and small entrepreneurs, especially women and disabled entrepreneurs, start-ups and young people in various exhibitions and festivals held in our country.

The main goal of these support measures is to help SMBs present their products and services, expand sales opportunities, and build business relationships.
