Entrepreneurs prefer to receive services in a single location – at SMB Houses

In the first half of the current year, the number of services provided at SMB Houses increased by 23.2% compared to the same period last year.

In January–June 2025, the volume of services provided to entrepreneurs at SMB Houses increased by a total of 23.2% compared to the same period of the previous year. While a total of 208,194 services were provided to entrepreneurs at SMB Houses in the first half of 2024, this indicator reached 256,437 during the same period of the current year. The increase was 31.2% for "Yevlax SMB House", 6.8% for "Khachmaz SMB House", and 6.7% for "Baku SMB House".

During this period, an increase was also observed in the total number of government-to-business (G2B) and business-to-business (B2B) services provided to entrepreneurs in SMB houses: 22.8% and 26.7%, respectively.

The growing interest of entrepreneurs in SMB houses is due to their easy access to various services in one place, the organization of the process based on the principles of fast, transparent and entrepreneur satisfaction, as well as the opportunity to save time and costs for business entities.

It should be noted that in 2024, Azerbaijan’s SMB House model was recognized by the Research Center for Innovation in the Public Sector of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development as a leading innovative practice and exemplary model, and was recommended for implementation to member countries. Several countries have already expressed interest in Azerbaijan’s SMB House model. For example, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and Kazakhstan’s “KIT” International Entrepreneurs Union to exchange experience regarding SMB Houses.
