Delegation of representatives of the RIYADA organization from Oman visited “Baku SME House” 21.09.26

Information was provided to the delegation of representatives of RIYADA about SME House, which is a model for serving entrepreneurs in a common location.

Within the framework of its visit to Azerbaijan, the delegation of representatives of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development organization of the Sultanate of Oman (RIYADA) was introduced to the activities of “Baku SME House”.

The delegation under the leadership of Chairperson of RIYADA Halima Al Zarini became closely acquainted with the conditions created at the SME House for providing services to entrepreneurs, and an exchange of views was held on the organisation of “G2B” and “B2B” services. The delegation of representatives was provided with information that the presentation of services of various state and private institutions to entrepreneurs in a common location at SME Houses allows them to save their time and operational costs, as well as to benefit from services in a more prompt and convenient manner. Currently, SME Houses operate in the cities of Baku, Ganja, Khachmaz, Yevlakh and Shusha. In general, more than 300 types of “G2B” services by 35 state institutions and 160 types of “B2B” services by 13 private organisations are provided to entrepreneurs at SME Houses.

In addition, the delegation of representatives of RIYADA met with the management of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). At the meeting, information was provided on the development of small and medium entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan and state support tools, the policy and experience implemented in the field of SME development, as well as opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of SMEs were discussed.
