The Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), Orkhan Mammadov, met with Huseyn Mahmudov, one of the winners of the second "Yukselish" competition within the framework of the Mentorship program.

 

At the meeting, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), congratulated Huseyn Mahmudov, the winner of the second "Yukselish" competition. 

 

Orkhan Mammadov wished the winner success in his future activities and emphasized the importance of the mentorship program for competition winners in developing their potential, enhancing their knowledge and skills towards achieving their goals. In addition, he underlined that the experience gained from the program will be of great significance in efficiently organizing work in their fields. As one of the managers of the project, the Chairman of the Board of KOBİA stated that he would collaborate closely with the winner of the competition for a year based on his personal development plan, share his experience with him, and help him materialize his potential.

  

Orkhan Mammadov reminded that he took part in the Mentorship program with the winner of the first "Yukselish" competition as one of the project managers in 2021. He also highlighted that in the previous period he worked closely with the winner of the competition in effective management, crisis management, and other areas and attended in a number of meetings and events. The Chairman of the Board expressed confidence that effective collaboration will be established with the winner of the 2nd "Yukselish" competition as well.

   

At the meeting, the winner, Huseyn Mahmudov, expressed his aspiration to acquire new skills through the Mentorship Program within the framework of the second "Yukselish" competition. He expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Board of KOBİA for this sincere reception and opportunities availed for him to improve himself, benefit from the experience of the Chairman.

 

It should be noted that the "Yukselish" competition was established by the Decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 26, 2019.  The citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, aged 21-51, with a higher education and two years of experience in the field of management can take part in the competition. The competition consists of five stages - registration, online selection, audition, semi-final and final. The winners of the competition will receive a personal development plan for a year from managers (https://yukselish.az/mentors.html) and a self-development grant of 20,000 manats each. On December 20, 2022, the Decree was signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on holding the third "Yukselish" competition.
