Business training arranged for Aghali village residents as part of the "Smart village" project

The Zangilan region’s Aghali village residents will be supported in creating micro-businesses under the ‘Smart village’ project. This is the aim of the cooperation between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy, the Agency for Agricultural Services under the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and the Executive Power of the Zangilan region. Within the framework of cooperation, residents of the Zangilan region liberated from occupation will receive support in starting their own businesses and employment. At the first stage, 22 Zangilan residents will be involved in the self-employment program, and land plots will be allocated for them to arrange small businesses. Upon successful completion of the training and assessment, the State Employment Agency will provide the program participants with the appropriate equipment corresponding to their activities.

SMBDA and the Agency for Agricultural Services have already met with villagers to determine their future areas of activity and related needs. As a result of the meetings, areas have been identified such as car service, construction, master of household appliances, tailor’s, and hairdresser’s services, beauty salon, bakery, trade, etc.

Business training started on November 1. At the training, the SMBDA experts instill in the participants the knowledge required for doing business, inform them of the support mechanisms, and answer their questions.
