Business knowledge of women entrepreneurs increase

Within the scope of the "Power of Women in Business" project, which will last until April, the owners of the three best projects will be awarded financial support to realize their business idea.

 

"Power of Women in Business" project was organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and "Rabitabank" OJSC, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan, the Association for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan and the "Marsol Group". Various trainings were held in February and March to boost the business knowledge of 23 women entrepreneurs engaged in the "Power of Women in Business" project, a meeting with representatives of state institutions providing support and services to entrepreneurs and a practice visit to the city of Lankaran were organized. The project aims to support to increase the role and empowerment   of women entrepreneurs in the   economy. 

 

During the trainings, women entrepreneurs were provided  information on corporate culture and management, product, its presentation and sales, benefits of the "Startup" certificate, leadership, as well as other topics essential for starting and developing a business. At the events held with the involvement of trainers and experts Zahid Adigozelov, Sakit Samadov, Hikmet Aliyev and Mujgan Aliyeva, ideas were exchanged with women entrepreneurs on the topic, their questions were addressed and practical consulting services were rendered.

At the same time, in February, meetings of women entrepreneurs with representatives of state institutions providing support and services to business entities were organized, and in March, practice visits to a tea plantation located in Lankaran district were held.

 

Note: Funding will be provided for the 3 best projects presented by the actors of the "Power of Women in Business" project, which will end in April (1st place 5000 manats, 2nd place 3000 manats and 3rd place 2000 manats).
