Briefing was held on the 6th “Exhibition for the Promotion of Local Companies.” 13.06.25

The exhibition will showcase nearly 300 local companies’ products, new brands, technologies for the production and service sectors.

With the joint cooperation of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (“KOBIA”) and “Marsol Group”, Briefing was held on the 6th “Exhibition for the Promotion of Local Companies” in “Baku SME House”.

Mr.Samir Humbatov, the first deputy-chief of KOBIA and Mr.Tural Mustafayev, the founder of “Marsol Group” informed in detailed about the aim of exhibition and the innovations to be presented, and answered questions from media representatives in the event.

It was emphasized that it is almost 6 years that “Exhibition for the Promotion of Local Companies” to be held at the Baku Expo Center on June 18-21, is one of the biggest platforms where local companies introduces their products and services. The purpose is to introduce the products and services of the local companies, especially brands that will be launched for the first time with the general public, increase their accesses to the foreign markets and promote the mutually beneficial cooperation among the business enterprises. Nearly 300 local companies which are operating in food, ICT, education, construction, industry, agriculture, logistics, textile and other spheres will attend in this year’s exhibition. Unlike previous years, more companies are participating in this year's exhibition. The exhibition prioritized the participation of companies that support technological innovations, new brands, and environmentally friendly and sustainable production. Taking into account applications by entrepreneurs and interests of visitors, the exhibition will continue for 4 days for the first time this year. This year, as first time, organizations of “B2B” format meetings are considered in order to expanding the relations of micro and small entrepreneurs with large companies and increasing their participation in the supply chain.

At the same time, free booths are built for SMEs with the aim of supporting the micro and small businesses by KOBIA.

It was emphasized in the briefing that the exhibition will not services only for displaying local products, but also for exporting of Azerbaijani products, establishment of relations with foreign partners. With this aim chambers of commerce and business associations of foreign countries operating in Azerbaijan were invited.

What makes the exhibition important for local companies is that they have the opportunity to introduce their products and services to a wide audience, establish new partnerships and sign contracts, improve their products by learning about consumers' opinions, and increase sales.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide array of domestically produced goods in one place, gain firsthand insight into new services and technologies, sample local products particularly those being introduced to the market for the first time participate in presentations, and engage directly with producers of the items they consume, exchanging views with entrepreneurs on topics of interest.

A free bus route (from the "Koroghlu" metro station (Heydar Aliyev Avenue, "Alov" park exit) will serve exhibition participants and visitors on June 18-21, from 10:00 to 16:30 in both directions. The free buses will be marked "Promotional exhibition of local companies".

This year's partners of the exhibition, which will be held with the official partnership of "Kapital Bank", are the State Employment Agency, the Azerbaijan State Advertising Agency and the National Association of Businessmen's Societies (ICMA).

It should be noted that the "Exhibition for the Promotion of Local Companies" has been held since 2019. About 22 thousand visitors attended the exhibition held in 2024.
