Azerbaijan–Vietnam Business Council to Be Established

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) and the Vietnam National Association of Entrepreneurs (VINEN) to formalize the establishment of the Azerbaijan–Vietnam Business Council.

The initiative aims to foster deeper economic and business relations between Azerbaijani and Vietnamese entrepreneurs. The signing ceremony took place at the “Baku SMB House” as part of the official visit of H.E. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, to Azerbaijan.

The Memorandum was signed by Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the KOBIA Board, and Dinh Viet Hoa, President of VINEN.

The Azerbaijan–Vietnam Business Council will support entrepreneurial initiatives in both countries, facilitate business-to-business connections, promote mutual visits and joint events, and enable the exchange of information beneficial to the development of bilateral trade relations. In its initial phase, the Council will focus on appointing co-chairs and involving business representatives from both Azerbaijan and Vietnam.

During the meeting between Chairman Orkhan Mammadov and President Dinh Viet Hoa, the parties discussed the provisions of the newly signed Memorandum and exchanged views on strengthening cooperation and expanding engagement between the business communities of the two nations.

Additionally, the President of VINEN was introduced to the operations of the “Baku SMB House” and familiarized himself with the “G2B” and “B2B” services provided to entrepreneurs.
