Under the Memorandum of Understanding, KOBİA and JEDCO will strengthen cooperation in the SME sector and promote the establishment of new partnerships between businesses.
A Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in the SME sector, expanding trade and economic relations, and creating new opportunities for businesses was signed in Baku within the framework of the 4th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The document, signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), envisions strengthening cooperation between the SMEs of both countries, exchanging information on trade and investment opportunities, expanding experience-sharing in the provision of SME services and management practices, organizing reciprocal business missions and various events, and implementing other promotional activities to foster new business partnerships. To ensure the implementation of the Memorandum, the parties will develop a Roadmap outlining the directions and stages of cooperation.
