During Baku Energy Week, the stand of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) will serve as a platform for meetings and cooperation among entrepreneurs and stakeholders interested in and supportive of the green transition.
As part of Baku Energy Week, the 30th Anniversary International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition has officially commenced at the Baku Expo Center.
KOBIA’s stand at this year’s exhibition is dedicated to promoting the transition of SMEs to a green economy and to advancing the "Joint Declaration on the Baku Climate Coalition for the Green Transition of SMEs," introduced by the Agency within the framework of COP29. To this end, the stand features written and video materials related to the Baku Climate Declaration. It is worth noting that the declaration, which has already been joined by nearly 20 local and international organizations, represents the first global initiative aimed at facilitating the green transition of SMEs. This document outlines coordinated global actions to foster the integration of small and medium-sized enterprises into the green economy. Throughout the exhibition, domestic and international organizations engaged in entrepreneurship will be informed about the declaration, and promotional efforts will be carried out to encourage their participation in the initiative.
KOBIA’s stand also showcases the products and services of around 10 SMEs operating in sectors such as textiles, energy, ICT, industrial equipment manufacturing, services, and logistics. This support aims to enhance the visibility of SME products and services, expand sales opportunities, and foster new partnerships.
It should be noted that the Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition will run until June 4. During this period, KOBIA’s stand will continue to serve as a hub for meetings, advisory services, and promotional activities related to the Baku Climate Declaration, specifically targeting entrepreneurs and other stakeholders interested in the green transition.
