Another training on “Tax and tax benefits” for entrepreneurs with disabilities was held at the Sumgait SMB Development Center under the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) as part of measures to support people with disabilities to start and develop their businesses.

At the event organized with the observance of the necessary rules in connection with the pandemic, trainer-expert Afgan Safarli informed the participants about the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, registration in the Tax Authority, tax obligations of entrepreneurs, calculation and payment of taxes, online registration and use of electronic services available in this field. Also, the entrepreneurs` questions were answered.

It should be noted that Sumgait SMB Development Center regularly conducts training sessions and workshops, provides business consulting services and other services to encourage entrepreneurs, including vulnerable persons, to entrepreneurial activity. Entrepreneurs operating in Sumgait and Absheron Economic Region and persons wishing to start their own business can reach Sumgait SMB Development Center for educational and training services related to entrepreneurial activity. All services provided by the Center are free of charge for business entities.
