A presentation on Azerbaijan's experience in the field of SMEs was held for ICSB members 27.01.22

The member organizations of the International Council on Small Business (ICSB) were informed about the experience of Azerbaijan in the field of micro, small and medium enterprises. At the online event organized by ICSB, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov informed about the activities of the Agency, support and services provided to SMEs. It was noted that SMBDA is a member of the ICSB family and this membership is important in terms of studying international experience in the field of business and expanding cooperation with relevant agencies. Foreign businessmen who want to learn about the business environment and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, as well as those who are interested in cooperating with local SMEs and implementing joint projects, can also benefit from the services of SMBDA.

The event also featured a presentation on the support and services of SMBDA, and questions from ICSB members about the Agency's activities were answered .

It should be noted that the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) has been operating since 1955 and unites the relevant agencies of about 90 countries. ICSB supports the growth and development of small business internationally, promoting innovation in business management and entrepreneurship development. SMBDA has been a member of the organization since 2021.
