A meeting with entrepreneurs involved in import-export operations has been held

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) arranged a meeting with entrepreneurs involved in import-export operations.

The meeting with entrepreneurs operating in Baku was also attended by representatives of the State Customs Committee, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), and “Marsol” LLC.

At the meeting held as part of the public-private partnership platform, entrepreneurs spoke about the difficulties they faced during import and export operations, including customs clearance, storage of goods, especially food products, and examination of goods and made various proposals concerning customs duties and import procedures. Representatives of relevant agencies participating in the meeting answered entrepreneurs’ questions.

Note that the SMBDA’s SMB friend also operates in the Baku Main Customs Department of the State Customs Committee. Micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs using customs services may contact the SMB friend for information, advice, and legal assistance in connection with import-export operations, customs clearance, and procedures, as well as coordination and other services. The SMB friend also provides support in the prompt consideration of SMBs’ applications in the appropriate area within the framework of a public-private partnership with the participation of SMBDA and the State Customs Committee.
