Government support to business opportunities and realizing this potential in Neftchala was discussed.
With the organization of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), next meeting with entrepreneurs was held in Neftchala region. Approximately 100 entrepreneurs operating in the fields of agriculture, industry, fisheries, and cotton production, as well as representatives of relevant government institutions, participated in the meeting organized with the support of the Neftchala Region Executive Authority.
In the event, Mirhasan Seyidov, head of the Neftchala Region Executive Authority and Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of KOBIA talked in detailed about the economic potential of the region and government support tools for realizing current opportunities. It was emphasized that Neftchala with natural resources, industrial potential and agricultural opportunities is a region that offers favorable opportunities for production, processing and export-oriented activities. There are ample opportunities for establishing production by using the opportunities of the Neftchala Industrial Region, which offers various concessions, achieving high productivity through the application of modern technologies, and creating local brands for fishing and seafood products, leading to export-oriented activities. As well as, On-site processing of agricultural products in Neftchala has great potential to create added value. It was emphasized that being aware of the support mechanisms provided by the government, the entrepreneurs can implement the business opportunities in the region faster and more beneficially. Entreprenuers can apply to SME Friend offices of KOBIA operating in the region for awareness, coordination and advisory services on the innovations in business field and government support tools.
As part of the event, the opinions, proposals, and needs of entrepreneurs regarding land reclassification, the expansion of fish farming enterprises, financing of business activities, and other relevant issues were heard. Discussions were held around the respective topics, and questions were addressed.
KOBIA representatives also visited the fish processing facility of "AzProduct" LLC and the fish feed production plant of “KƏHF” LLC operating within the Neftchala Industrial Zone, where they exchanged views with entrepreneurs on the production process and future plans.
